Here it is -- my 40 Days To 40 Years Old challenge.
I originally thought about assigning one task to each day. That way, things would be organized and I would know what I have to do. However, if there is anything that I have learned over the past couple of days, it's that you can't plan for life. You can make plans, but the plans always seem to change.
So I will print out the list and start checking of the tasks, everyday, until I reach my birthday and run a 12K. To start out the challenge, I am riding a bike for 40 minutes. And since it's raining today (surprise, surprise), I'm doing it indoors at the gym.
Thanks to everyone who made suggestions for the list. I really appreciate your input. Here is what the challenge looks like:
Knit for 40 minutes.
Get a mani/pedi (and try not to spend more than $40!)
Dance for 40 minutes.
Prepare a healthy meal for friends in 40 minutes or less.
Walk for 40 minutes.
Drive for 40 miles and take a picture of what I find when I get there.
Make 40 wishes on 40 pennies and toss them in a fountain.
Spend 40 minutes on spring cleaning.
Do 40 jumping jacks.
Do 4 sets of 40 stairs.
Play a board game with my son for 40 minutes.
Eat 40 raspberries.
